Community Service
Joe’s Homemade contributes much of its success to local community involvement. Chef Ted “Joe” Paskevich has donated thousands of dollars of specialty Gourmet Dining Packages to local Savannah nonprofits. "This is our home and we feel we need to be good corporate citizens” stated Chef Ted “Joe” Paskevich, owner of Joe’s Homemade Café & Catering. After winning the Ronald McDonald House “Battle of the Bakers" award, Ted was besieged by requests from local charities. “We’ve always said “YES” when asked. There is always some way we can help, from gift certificates to a Specialty Cake to an exclusive Gourmet Dining Package for 4, depending upon our resources “says Don Holland, Co-Owner and Director of Community Outreach for the café.
